You probably noticed that LinkedIn has undergone a large redesign. Overall, the site is much more clean and easier to navigate than the previous design. This change came as a result of LinkedIn adapting to the new web standards that require active engagement of users.
What you may not know is that the LinkedIn company pages have also undergone some major changes. There aren’t any new features that are being added to the company pages, but there are some significant changes in the overall look and feel of the company pages.
LinkedIn Company Pages
LinkedIn is making it much easier for a company to add a picture or image that would represent their company. This is because it allows users to better associate the company or brand with that particular image. It helps the companies by allowing for better recognition, and it helps the users by allowing them to see if they have had any previous experience with the company.
LinkedIn has also made it easier for companies to share any job opportunities or openings that a company currently has. This is due to a change to member’s update stream, which allows companies to keep members informed on job opportunities. The company pages have received an upgrade in navigation as well. Companies are much more able to show off any of their services products or job openings to members who are looking at their company page.
Easier Access to More Information
One of the most significant results of the redesign is that there is increased availability of the company pages on mobile platforms. This means that you can now view the company pages from devices like the iPhone and Android.
With the new update, you are now more able to put more information about your company on your company page. This means that instead of a user having to scroll all the way and click see all activity they can just view the information. Before the design changes, visitors were unable to see past activity updates. The update allows users to more easily comment and view any posts that were made in the past. Companies are now also able to more efficiently promote any of their services or increase their brand awareness. This is because the redesign moved the products and services tab to right side bar, which allows companies to showcase anything they provide.
Overall, the LinkedIn website has undergone a significant and impressive redesign. The navigation and information display has been significantly improved. If you haven’t already, be sure you check it out.

Every time I read about LinkedIn I promise myself to utilise it more and never do. But this post has convinced me it’s better than before so I’m going to check out the new features. Thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com
I agree Sian – I always have it in the back of my mind to spend more time in LinkedIn. I also really like the improvements they are making and it’s just another confirmation that it’s important to have a presence and spend time on LinkedIn. Thank you for commenting!
